Rachel Shabi

Rachel Shabi is the author of ''We Look Like the Enemy: The Hidden Story of Israel's Jews from Arab Lands'', a book on Israel's Oriental Jews, and a contributing writer to ''The Guardian''. Shabi was born in Ramat Gan, Israel〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.bloomsbury.com/author/rachel-shabi/ )〕 to Iraqi Jewish parents. She studied politics and literature at the University of Edinburgh, in Scotland.〔
Rachel Shabi has written extensively on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the Middle East for a variety of national and international newspapers including the Guardian, the Times, English Aljazeera, Jane's Intelligence Digest, Foreign Policy, the New Statesman and the National (UAE). Her book, ''We Look Like the Enemy: The Hidden Story of Israel's Jews from Arab Lands'', was published in 2009 and received a National Jewish Book Award.〔"(NJBA Winners )", Jewish Book Council.
